Be sure to start your day with a good breakfast; you will need it since we are hitting the road down the Avenue of Volcanoes. Alongside the road, you will see the colorful Andean fields up to 12 000 feet (3 657 mts). Where are we headed? To Cotopaxi National Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful sight of the Limpiopungo Lagoon at the hills of the volcano, decorated with the Rumiñahui volcano and the imposing Cotopaxi —the highest volcano on Earth. In the afternoon, we’ll roll into Hacienda La Ciénaga, a time capsule com right from the colonial era. Let yourself enjoy the ambiance and feel like you were transported to other times. And the cherry on top: end the day with a delicious dinner before you go to sleep. Meals: Dinner. Accommodation: La Ciénega

Today you’ll descend the Andean fields, from 13,000 ft (3962 mts) to 9,000 ft (2743 mts). Enjoy the landscape and keep your eyes sharp to spot the Spectacled Bear, the only bear species in South America. On the road, you can appreciate the local fields with their colors and people working. The fields are known for their crops. We will arrive at Hacienda Guachala in the early afternoon, and after checking in, you will be free to enjoy the different activities prepared for you. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch. Get yourself a nice breakfast and prepare yourself before we set off across the Andes towards Otavalo. You will visit the Otavalo Market —also called “Mercado del Poncho”— one of the most famous Indigenous fairs in the world. Walk through the cobblestone streets, explore the market with the locals, and check out their many goods. We then head towards Cotacachi to check the famous leather goods made there. You will end the day at Las Palmeras Inn.   Meals: Breakfast. Accommodation: La Palmeras Inn

On our last day, we will go to Hacienda Guanchala for a small stroll the surroindings before returning to Quito. Then, it is time to wrap up our journey! We’ll get you to the airport, so don’t forget to grab your stuff, pictures, and… what are those you got there? Anyways, we will wait for your return, so don’t take too long before coming back!
