We will drive north of Quito about 2 hours  to reach the beginning of the glacier of Cayambe volcano at 15,000ft (4500mt). This is the only volcano on earth whose summit is crossed by the equator line and the only snow-capped mountain directly on the equator.

We will start our adventure with a short hike to the glacier.Later in the afternoon, we will be transferred to the slopes of Imbabura volcano to enjoy a cultural encounter with local people and learn their traditional way of living. Our accommodation for the night will be a homestay at different local families of the San Clemente community.

We return to Quito, and then it is time to wrap up our journey! We’ll get you to the airport, so don’t forget to grab your stuff, pictures, and… what are those you got there? Anyways, we will wait for your return, so don’t take too long before coming back!
