Taking care of the details when you cruise the archipelago you will experienice luxury in a whole new concept.

As expected everything was clockwork timing. The Alya was a unique experience. Experience versus a sightseeing vacation. We enjoyed the hiking and snorkeling. Snorkeling with the penguins was awesome. Being close to all the birds and sea lions was such a different experience. We saw the giant tortoise in captivity at the Darwin Research Center but it was still special. Our guide (Cesar) for the tour of Quito was excellent and filled with information. The naturalist (Fernanda) on the Alya was also excellent and made the hikes meaningful.

FAQS

How much should I tip? Tips are not included in the trip cost. These are entirely at your discretion but there is an expectation to tip for good service. Your guide will help with advice; however, we suggest the below as a guideline per person. Guides: USD 10- USD 15 per day Of course, you are free to tip more or less, and the amount should be reflective of your perception of service and quality - a tip is not compulsory and should only be given when you receive excellent service.
